We invite you to extend your stay either pre or post-convention to explore Greater Green Bay. Most visitors to Green Bay make sure to stop at Lambeau Field, one of the most historic and loved sports stadiums in the United States. Lambeau is located just five minutes from downtown. Take a group or venture on your own! The stadium is open almost every day of the year, and tours are often available and last about 50 minutes. Explore the best of Packers history in the brand new Packers Hall of Fame. If you don’t have time for a tour, be sure to at least head inside the Atrium (free) and browse the Packers Pro Shop.
Some other great destinations located about five minutes from the convention center are Bay Beach Amusement Park and the Wildlife Sanctuary. Both offer free admission and low-cost amenities for the entire family to enjoy. Museums abound in the area, so if you’re a train-lover or would like to learn more about the Native American culture, options are close by.
If you’re visiting on a Wednesday or Saturday, downtown Green Bay has two great farmer’s markets just three blocks from the convention center (June through October). Green Bay offers so much more than you can imagine!
